Star Trails

The NamibRand Nature Reserve is one of the few internationally certified dark-sky reserves in Africa. Stacking several hundred frames per night, this project traces the rotation of the southern sky over the red dunes of the reserve.

Het NamibRand Nature Reserve is een van de weinige internationaal gecertificeerde donkere-hemelreservaten in Afrika. Door enkele honderden opnamen per nacht te stacken, brengt dit project de rotatie van de zuidelijke hemel boven de rode duinen van het reservaat in beeld.
